Linz is a tiny city and most of the locations are in a walkable distance (15/20 min max)

From the train station of Linz there is a Tram-line that brings you to the main square. Tram lines are 1, 2, 3, and 4 - taken in the right direction will all bring you to the main square - “Hauptplatz” - and a one way ticket costs around 3.00 Euro.

There are Ticket Vending Machines in every Tram/Bus stop accepting cash or card payments.

You can try to use the city-bikes, you need to register, every day first 30 minutes are for free, then 1 euro per 15 minutes. \\
make sure you return the bike to the parking lots (if full you can leave it close-by)
